last modified May 18, 2017 10:45 AM
Cambridge hits the top spot as the best place to study Sociology!

We are extremely excited that the Department of Sociology has been ranked the NUMBER ONE University in the UK to study Sociology in the Guardian University Guide 2018.

The Department received a score of 100/100, beating other top ranking Universities such as Bath, Sheffield and Edinburgh. The ranking is based on measures, such as student satisfaction, student:staff ratios and career after 6 months of graduating.

This number one ranking, for another year running, is a real testament to the time and hard work that our students, academic and support staff dedicate to ensure that Cambridge is an outstanding institution for students to study.

Thank you to all those who have contributed to this fantastic achievement!
