Our New MPhils 2018

We pride ourselves in being a supportive department with many resources to help students during their studies.

Cambridge courses are highly demanding and require a lot from students. However, there is a range of support available to students to help them get the most out of their degree.

Staff

We have a number of award winning academic staff on hand to guide students over the course of their degree; providing teaching, feedback on assignments and hosting information sessions on choosing tracks within the HSPS programme. Students are kept up-to-date by our experienced Undergraduate Administrator, who sends out course information and deadlines as well as opportunities and events.

Library

We have dedicated library services where students can find required readings, books and journal articles. There are also quiet spaces to work with WiFi and printing services.

Resources & Training

Students can access a range of study resources and training programmes to assist with their degree, including Camguides to help new students get started.

Wellbeing & Pastoral Support

There are a range of wellbeing resources available to help students who run into difficulties during their degree, including our Departmental Welfare Advocate amongst other University Services.
