Support Students: Open doors to a world-class education

The Department of Sociology is home to over 370 undergraduate and graduate students. Sociology students leave Cambridge with a deep understanding of modern societies and are equipped with a wide range of transferrable skills that enable them to forge successful careers that can make a real difference to the world.

The Department of Sociology is passionate in its belief that talented students should be able to apply to study here, regardless of their economic status or background.

Financial support provided by donors who appreciate the importance of making the Department of Sociology’s world class teaching available to the brightest and most talented students, regardless of their means, can make a huge difference. These donations can be used to support undergraduate and graduate bursaries and studentships, and will help to ensure that the brightest and most talented students can come and enjoy the experience of studying Sociology at Cambridge.
