Tobias Haeusermann

Tobias Haeusermann is a Ph.D Candidate and Researcher in Sociology and a member of King’s College. He received a B.Sc. from the University of Applied Sciences Zürich in 2009 and an M.Phil from Cambridge in 2011. His current research focuses primarily on the relationship between dementia and social exclusion. He is particularly interested in how medical knowledge and care practices are interpreted differently in distinct cultural settings. Beyond these specific research domains, Tobias is also interested in communication studies, the sociology of health and illness, comparative ethnographic research, and qualitative research methodologies. His work has been published in Current Sociology, Publishing Research Quarterly and The King's Review.
