Diane Barlee

Diane Barlee is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Sociology and a member of Queens’ College at the University of Cambridge. She works under the supervision of Professor John B. Thompson. Currently, Diane is working on her thesis, A Fine Frenzy: A Sociological Examination of the Field of Contemporary British Poetry.

Academic Background

Diane received her BA and MA from the University of Victoria, Canada. At the University of Victoria, she worked as a Research Coordinator, Research Assistant and Academic Assistant/Lecturer. At the University of Cambridge, she supervises students in the Media, Culture and Society series.
